General Resources

This page is a central hub for rehoming, lost/found pets, vet care, and other community resources. While Lifeline of Galveston County can’t take in every animal, we’re committed to helping you find solutions.

🔄 Rehoming or Surrendering a Pet

We are not currently accepting pets from the public.
However, you can explore the following resources:

  • Rehome by Adopt-a-Pet – create a profile and find a new home for your pet

  • Home to Home – rehome your pet directly without them entering a shelter

  • Pet Food or Veterinary Assistance: See “Pet Support” section below

If you were referred by a municipal shelter, email us at info@lifelinetx.org with details.
