Pet Sleepovers & Doggie Day Outs

Give a shelter pet a little adventure, extra love, and a break from shelter life!

Sleepovers:

Host a pet for a cozy night (or a few nights) then bring them back to our adoption center. Pets ages 6 months and older can begin a sleepover any day of the week. Sleepovers for younger puppies and kittens are available on Sunday nights only (because we are closed for adoptions Mondays and Tuesdays).

Doggie Day Out:

Make a dog’s day with some quality time outside the shelter! Pick up a dog Wednesday–Sunday, as early as 7 a.m., and return them by 7 p.m. the same day.

Looking for a short-term commitment with a big impact? Consider signing up for a pet sleepover or doggie day out! During sleepovers, take healthy adoptable kittens & puppies or eligible adult cats or dogs for play and cuddles. All food & litter provided.

Or participate in a "doggie day outs" where you can take one of our adoptable dogs for the day on a walk, to the park or home to cuddle and watch a movie. Just return them by 7pm.

All pets eligible for this program:

are vaccinated, de-flead and de-wormed
are at least 8 weeks of age or older
can be adopted by your family if you decide to adopt (but this is not the purpose of the program & we will not pressure you to adopt!)
