Foster Dog Content Guidelines & Submission Form

Thank you for fostering! Great photos and videos help your foster pup find their forever home faster. Please use this guide when creating content for your foster's pet profile and marketing.

Photo Guidelines

Lighting: Use natural light when possible. Take photos outdoors or near a window.

Angles: Get down on the dog’s level for the best shots.

Backgrounds: Choose clean, clutter-free spaces. Avoid laundry piles, trash cans, etc.

Three of the following Images are requested:

  • A clear face shot

  • Full body shot

  • Action/play photo

  • Cuddly or calm photo

Format: Submit photos as JPEG or PNG.

Video Guidelines

Keep clips short (10–60 seconds).

Film in vertical (portrait) orientation if possible. This allows us to use the submitted video across multiple social media platforms.

Ideas:

  • Walking on a leash

  • Playing with toys

  • Sitting for treats

  • Socializing with other dogs

  • Showing personality (snuggly, goofy, energetic, calm).
