We strongly support Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) as the most humane and effective way to manage outdoor cat populations. TNR stops reproduction, reduces nuisance behaviors, and helps cats live healthier lives outdoors. Removing cats or bringing them to shelters is rarely effective and can make the problem worse. Instead, we encourage residents to use local low-cost TNR resources, explore humane deterrents for property concerns, and avoid relocation unless absolutely necessary. Learn more in this section about why TNR works and how you can help.
