Leadership gifts begin at $1,000, and can be broken into monthly donations.
Lifeline of Galveston County began with a simple belief: our community could save more animals if we were willing to build better solutions.

Today, that belief has grown into an organization serving hundreds of animals and families each year through adoption, foster care, veterinary care, community programs, and partnerships with local shelters.
​
But the need keeps growing faster than we can meet it alone.
​
That's why we're inviting a small group of people to help us close that gap.
​
Lifeline 25 is a circle of 25 individuals, families, and businesses making leadership gifts of $1,000 or more to strengthen Lifeline and expand what we can accomplish for animals across Galveston County.​
What Your Investment Makes Possible
$1,000 — Be the Reason We Can Say Yes
When an animal needs emergency veterinary care, the first bill can easily reach $1,000 before treatment has truly begun.
A gift at this level gives Lifeline the ability to act when an animal needs us most without having to wait to raise the money first.

It means that when the call comes, funding doesn't have to be the reason we say no.
​
$2,500 — Creates Capacity for More
Saving more animals requires more than an open kennel. Your investment helps fund the infrastructure behind every successful outcome.
​
A $2,500 gift can fund nearly a full month of Lifeline's facility costs, or one month of additional large-dog capacity through our partnership with Sea Dog Inn.
​
For large dogs, who are among the most difficult animals to place and most at risk in municipal shelters, that additional capacity can mean the difference between having somewhere to go and having no option at all.
​
$5,000 — Provides Two Weeks of Care, 365 Days a Year
Quality animal care doesn't stop when the adoption center closes.
​
A $5,000 gift funds approximately two weeks of the specialized staff who care for Lifeline's animals every single day of the year. Our dogs are walked and cared for on a schedule that ensures they aren't left waiting overnight or going long stretches without attention, including walks no longer than 12 hours apart.
​
That level of care requires people. Our team provides daily husbandry, monitors health and behavior, coordinates veterinary care, supports fosters and adopters, and helps move 50–100 animals from municipal shelters into Lifeline's programs each month.
​
Staff aren't overhead separate from lifesaving. They are how lifesaving happens.
​
$10,000 — Creates Stability
A $10,000 investment gives Lifeline something incredibly valuable: room to breathe.
​
Gifts at this level provide the financial stability to keep programs running, meet unexpected veterinary and operational needs, and make decisions based on what is best for the animals, and not simply what we can afford that week.
​
When Lifeline has financial stability, we can plan ahead instead of constantly reacting. That means stronger programs, better care, and the confidence to keep saying yes when animals need us.
​
$25,000 — Makes Growth Possible
A $25,000 investment doesn't just support the work Lifeline is doing today. It gives us the ability to seriously consider what we could do tomorrow.
​
Gifts at this level allow us to evaluate opportunities that would otherwise remain out of reach. This includes things such expanding successful programs, increasing capacity, investing in equipment or infrastructure, adding specialized staff, and building new solutions when our community needs them.

A Note from Our Founder
When I started Lifeline in 2020, I wasn't trying to build another traditional animal rescue. I wanted to help build a better system for animals in Galveston County.
​
Six years later, Lifeline has grown far beyond what I could have imagined. But growth creates a new challenge.
We can have the programs, the volunteers, the foster homes, the partnerships, and the ideas to help more animals, but none of those things are sustainable without the financial foundation underneath them.
That's why I'm creating Lifeline 25.
I'm looking for 25 people who see what Lifeline has become, believe in where we're going, and are willing to make a meaningful investment in getting us there.

A gift of $1,000, $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $25,000 or more is significant. I don't take that lightly.
