Report Flipcause Complaints
Delayed Payouts, Withheld Funds & Support Issues
My name is Caroline McKenna, and I’m the Founder & Executive Director of Lifeline of Galveston County, a 501(c)(3) animal rescue in Texas. We previously used Flipcause but ultimately left the platform after repeated delays in receiving our funds. Those delays, sometimes lasting weeks to months, significantly disrupted our operations. Customer service was slow to respond, never apologetic, and the problem was never resolved.
Through my research, I discovered that hundreds of other organizations have been negatively affected in the same way. It is unacceptable for a for-profit company to take advantage of its nonprofit clients’ donations, leaving critical community services in limbo.

We are now collecting materials from other affected nonprofits to compile a strong, unified packet to present to a law firm for potential collective legal action. If you’ve had similar issues with Flipcause, please share your experience using the form below. For questions, contact me directly at cmckenna@lifelinetx.org.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this legal advice?
No. This page and the form are for information-gathering only and do not create an attorney–client relationship.

Will my organization’s name be public?
We won’t publish your submission. If legal action proceeds, a law firm will advise on confidentiality and next steps.

Can I submit if I still use Flipcause?
Yes. You may still submit. Consider exporting your donor and transaction data for safekeeping while you document issues.
What happens after I submit?
We’ll review and compile verified submissions and share them confidentially with a law firm to evaluate potential collective action. We may contact you for clarifications or additional documentation.
