Role Summary

Food Volunteers keep meal service flowing smoothly and safely while collecting tickets and distributing meals.

 

Primary Responsibilities

• Collect tickets

• Serve Angry Mac Bowls or hot dog + chips meals

• Also distribute napkins, utensils, and drinks 

• Wear gloves for all food handling

 

Ticket Values

• 6 tickets: Angry Mac + drink

• 4 tickets: Hot dog + chips + drink

• Vendor teams with vouchers receive 1 free meal

 

Setup Duties (10 AM)

• Clear leaves/debris from eating area

• Set up serving tables & buffet set-up in prep area

• Set up projector & screen in eating area 

• Fill coolers with water and soda and add ice

• Post signage

 

End-of-Day Breakdown (6 PM)

• Package leftover food

• Throw out disposable buffet warmer supplies

• Dump ice from coolers

• Clean prep and eating areas

• Take down projector/screen

• Breakdown tables 

• Take down signs 

 

Important Notes

• Do not leave your station until relieved

• Stay aware of food safety and cleanliness
