This Thanksgiving break, you can open your heart and home to a lovable dog or cat, and create unforgettable memories for both you and your temporary fur companion.

At Lifeline, our mission goes beyond simply finding homes for animals. We are dedicated to providing the best care and support for our shelter residents while they await their forever families. The Pet Sleepover Program is designed to achieve multiple goals:

1. Give Animals a Break: Shelter life can be stressful for our four-legged friends. A change of scenery and the comfort of a loving home environment can work wonders for their well-being.
   
2. Learn More About Our Animals: By participating in the program, you'll help us gather valuable insights about the behavior and personality of our animals in a home setting, which in turn helps us make better matches for future adoptions.
   
3. Create Happy Memories: Spending quality time with a pet during the Thanksgiving break can be a heartwarming and fulfilling experience for both you and the animal. It's a win-win!
   

​How It Works

Joining the Pet Sleepover Program at Lifeline is as easy as pie! Here's a quick rundown of how you can get involved:

​Pick-Up Dates & Times:

• Wednesday to Friday: 12pm-8pm
• Saturday/Sunday: 10am-8pm
• Special Hours on Monday, 11/20, and Tuesday, 11/21: 12pm-3pm

Location: 100 E Nasa Parkway, Ste 55, Webster, TX

Steps to Participate:

1. Visit Us: Drop by the shelter during the hours listed above. Our friendly staff will be happy to assist you.
2. Fill Out an Application: You'll need to complete a sleepover application before you arrive or while you are here. Don't worry; it's a straightforward process that helps us ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
3. Identification: Please bring your driver's license with you for verification purposes.
4. Choose Your Companion: Our knowledgeable staff will guide you through the process of selecting a pet that matches your lifestyle and preferences.
5. Duration of Stay: You can choose the length of your pet sleepover, ranging from one night to seven nights, depending on your availability and comfort level.
6. Supplies Provided: Rest assured, we'll provide you with all the necessary supplies to ensure a comfortable stay for your temporary furry family member.
7. Full Support: Throughout the sleepover, you'll have the support of Lifeline staff who are just a phone call away should you have any questions or concerns.
