Are you passionate about photography, videography, and spending time with adorable pets? If so, we have the perfect role for you!
About Us
Lifeline of Galveston County is a grass-roots non-profit organization on a mission to reach a time where our local municipal animal shelters do not have to euthanize pets due to a lack of space or resources. In March 2023, we transformed an old hair salon into an adoption center, and with the incredible support of our foster families, we found loving homes for over 350 pets.
Now, we're determined to double that number in 2024, but we can't do it alone – we need your help!

Why This Role Matters
Most of our adopters discover our pets through our website, Petfinder, Adopt-A-Pet, and other online platforms. That's why it's crucial for our pets to have outstanding online profiles – and that's where you come in!
Apply to Become A Paw-ducer
We're excited to launch our Paw-ducer Program in February 2024 and are seeking 5-6 volunteers to help us make it happen.
What's Involved?
As a Paw-ducer, you'll be paired with 2-3 pets at a time, either at our adoption facility or in foster care. Your responsibilities include taking photos and shooting videos to create captivating online profiles, as well as crafting a written bio based on the pet's behavior traits. Don't worry if you're new to video editing; we'll provide the necessary guidance.
Time Commitment
We ask our Paw-ducers to commit 2-3 hours a week to this role. This time will be divided between spending quality moments with the pets you're paired with and editing videos and online profiles, which can be done from the comfort of your home or at our adoption center.
What You Need
All you need is a smartphone capable of taking photos and videos. If you have access to a computer or laptop, that's a bonus but not mandatory.
Ready to Get Started?
Once you apply, our team will carefully review your application and notify you if you've been selected.
